Function of platemaking base film:

◦ Carrier function: The base film (such as polyester film) serves as a support layer for liquid resin to ensure uniform coating.

◦ Anti-sticking isolation: Some base films are coated with silicone for easy demolding after curing.

◦ Optical protection: The transparent base film protects the resin from oxygen interference during exposure to ensure the quality of curing.

Platemaking process:

1. Coating: Liquid resin is evenly coated on the base film.

2. Exposure: The resin undergoes photopolymerization through UV exposure of the negative film.

3. Washing: The uncured part is washed away by solvent or water to form a relief pattern.

4. Post-curing: Further curing improves the durability of the printing plate.
